Demolition & Asbestos Abatement Estimator Growing demolition and asbestos abatement contracting company seeks hands on, energetic, entrepreneurial team member to bid demolition and asbestos abatement projects throughout the Metro Detroit area. Individual will be responsible for seeking out bidding opportunities, bidding projects by visiting projects sites and reviewing blue prints, and follow up on bids until project award. Individual must work well with limited supervision and must immediately demonstrate the ability to bid and obtain demolition contracting work. Multitasking and ability to adapt to change is a must. Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Estimating: Attend pre bid meetings. Seek out bid opportunities. Review plans and specifications and develop an accurate estimate using Microsoft Excel.
