step 1.

Logon to your joomla administration.

Select Menu item : Extensions->Install/UnInstall

step 2:

In the Upload Package File Section

Click on Browse Button and select the file jGoToTop.zip) you have downloaded from this site.

step 3:

Click on Upload File & Install Button

 

Make sure you see success message after installation.

Now you have completed installation

Next are configuration steps (parameters input how you want in your site)

 

step 4:

Select menu item : Extensions->Plugin Manager

From the list of Installed plugins

find and select  'Content - go to TOP link embedding '

 

step 5:

Now you are in the edit screen of the plugin.

 

Here in this screen , you may modify as required for your website.

 
Access Level : Select Public(anyone)/Registered(only registered users) as required by you.

Enabled : Select this field as Yes.

TOP Link Alignment : select preferred alignment for the link ( default is right)


step 6: Click on Save Toolbar button on top of the screen.

 

step 7: Select any contents - From Article manager and apply the 
following code where the top link has to be displayed. 
{jgototop}{/jgototop}
