Installation Instructions for j7TitleScroller Module with Joomla 1.0.x/1.5.x

Instructions are simplified, for helping those of who are non-technical

step 1.

Logon to your joomla administration.

Select Menu item : Extensions->Install/UnInstall

step 2:

In the Upload Package File Section

Click on Browse Button and select the file (mod_j7titlescroller15.zip (for J1.5!) or mod_j7titlescroller10.zip (for J1.0!) ) you have downloaded from this site.

step 3:

Click on Upload File & Install Button

 

Make sure you see success message after installation.

Now you have completed installation

 

Next are configuration steps (parameters input how you want in your site)

 

step 4:

Select menu item : Extensions->Module Manager
From the list of Installed modules

find and select 'j7TitleScroller'

 

step 5:

Now you are in the edit screen of the module.

 

Here in this screen , you may modify as required for your website.

All field has default values.

 

Title : Not required or leave default value

Show Title : You may select 'No'

Position: Any position or leave default value

Module Order : Any Order or leave default value

Access Level : Select Public(anyone)/Registered(only registered users) as required by you.

Published : Select this field as Yes.


Scroll Choice (Selective choices for the scroll behaviour)
   
Available Choices : Scroll Once,Scroll Always,Scroll specified times

Scroll Count :  (Number of scrolls, IF 'Scroll specified scrollcount times' is selected in the above step)

Scroll Speed : In milliseconds (Speed of text scroll)


step 6: Click on Save Toolbar button on top of the screen.

 

step 7: Now you are all set to go, check your website for scrolling page title
