Installation Instructions for j7HTML Panel - HTML Embedding Panel Module

Instructions are simplified, for helping those who are non-technical

step 1.

Logon to your joomla administration.

Select Menu item : Extensions->Install/UnInstall

step 2:

In the Upload Package File Section

Click on Browse Button and select the file (mod_j7htmlpanel.zip) you have downloaded from this site.

step 3:

Click on Upload File & Install Button

 

Make sure you see success message after installation.

Now you have completed installation

 

Next are configuration steps (parameters input how you want in your site)

 

step 4:

Select menu item : Extensions->Module Manager

From the list of Installed modules

find and select 'j7HTMLpanel'



step 5:

Now you are in the edit screen of the module.

 

Here in this screen , you may modify as required for your website.

All field has default values.

 

Title : This does not show for this module


Position: Select Top or any suitable position (of the screen where you wanted to position the module)

Module Order : This is the order in which module has to be displayed (if you have already many other modules already)

Access Level : Select Public(anyone)/Registered(only registered users) as required by you.

Published : Select this field as Yes.

PANEL TOP SETTINGS
Background Color : Select from list the desired color for top portion of the panel.
Bottom Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Right Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Left Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Top Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Opacity : Select Transparency (%) from the list.

PANEL BAR SETTINGS
Background Color : Select from list the desired color for top portion of the panel.
Bottom Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Right Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Left Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Top Border Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'


PANEL BUTTON SETTINGS
Button Text : Text to be displayed in the panel button (Default : 'Panel').
Button Text Color : Enter color code prefix by '#'
Button Position : Enter any number (better between 20 and 600 or as required to position the button)

EFFECTS SETTINGS
Onload Option : Choose effects to be hidden or visible while page loading.
Transition Effects : Choose Yes/No
Transition Type : Select type from list.
Ease Type : Select type from list.


CONTENT HTML : Enter any html/javascript/css to be displayed in the panel.
example: <b> Header   </b><p><span class="small">Content text......!.</span></p>


 
step 6: Click on Save Toolbar button on top of the screen.

 

step 7: Now you are all set to go, check your website for j7Panel.
